Fotospiel labels images that were generated entirely by AI or materially edited with generative AI.
How to read our labels
“Partly created with AI” or “AI MODIFIED” means that an existing photo or marketing visual was materially changed or extended using generative AI. “AI-generated” or “AI GENERATED” means that the image was created by an AI system without an underlying photograph.
AI Magic Edit
AI Magic Edit results receive a permanent in-image label before they are shown for the first time. The label therefore remains visible after download. Unlabelled results are not delivered.
Images on this website
Realistic marketing images involving AI carry a notice directly on the image. Plain screenshots of the Fotospiel interface are not labelled as AI content.
Limits of the label
The label describes the use of generative AI. It does not state anything about image rights, depicted persons, or the accuracy of the content.
